As the Pre-20th Party Congress of the Communist Party of China made almost everything in the party made the Supreme Commander Xi Jinping as the new ‘God’ of China and tried to project him as the new ‘God’ of the World, the PLA started practicing it’s war drills in the Gobi deserts, increased more incursions into the Taiwanese Air-Space and started building up military installations along the Line of Control (LAC) with India, things look truly fantastic for the World.
What Happened?:
Next year November, Xi Jinping will be completing his 2nd term, and as per the current constitution (yes, there is a constitution in China, I meant CCP), no one can rule the country for more than two terms. But it has been settled that Xi will be the president after 2022. A confirmed third term in office for Xi has been sanctioned, but he wants more. He wanted to be the President for Life, just like his predecessor Mao Zedong did back in his reign of terror.
Some Backstage Pass Stories:
The rubberstamp of CCP has approved General Secretary Xi to remain in power. The Jiang Zemin faction, the last hurdle for Xi Jinping, has been almost eradicated. As per some unfiltered sources, there was an attempt of Coup against Xi by his deputies and Premiers, supported by former president Jiang Zemin. According to sources, the Current Premier or Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Politburo Standing Committee member Wang Yang, respectively the second and fourth top-ranking members of the CCP. They are supported by Vice President Wang Qishan and several top generals still on the Jiang faction. The plan was supposed to force Xi to step down based on his failed policies and make Li Keqiang the next leader of CCP and China. This Coup might help the Chinese people to reach towards freedom and true democracy as Li Keqiang is one of the reformed-minded CCP leaders who want real change. This Coup news was also known to two British Embassies located in China, just to give it some gravity.
But Xi somehow managed to get out of the situation or averted his loss of power this time. According to the same unfiltered sources, the faction is still active and may launch another strike in 2022 at the 20th Party Congress of the CCP. This also may take a sharp U-Turn as Jiang Zemin is also trying to get back into power. If somehow Jiang manages to come back into power. Implication Towards India:
After Xi grabbed power, he’s been extremely aggressive regarding India. Xi and his generals are strategizing and planning to grab Indian lands, which they claim “Belong to China, since ancient times.” The Peoples’ Liberation Army, or PLA, the armed wing of the CCP, has tried all it can do to provoke India.
We saw Doklam Standoff in 2017. The Galwan Clash in 2020 is still an ongoing standoff. Some incursions in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, and the most unusual thing was increased patrolling near the Uttarakhand Borders.
In October 2021, China has introduced a new Land Border Law. This is another tactic of the CCP to legitimize their illegal claims on Indian lands and other areas of different countries which the CCP claims for themselves and trying to occupy.
After more than 10 rounds of meetings between Indian and PLA security officials in the last 15 months, all of them have turned out to be fruitless. Meanwhile, Indian forces had captured several key locations throughout Eastern Ladakh areas, such as the Black Top and a favorable position at Pangong Tso. But to show some ‘Stupid Peace Gesture’ to the land grabbing CCP, our forces had vacated the places. Now, as per last week’s update, PLA has taken over some of the strategic areas and developed some military ‘fixed’ structures, compromising our posts, strategic locations, and up to some further extent, the Daulat Beg Oldi Base.
According to some military experts, the CCP is trying to convert the LAC into LoC just like it is with Pakistan. This way, we can expect regular bloodshed from both sides in the upcoming months.
There is more, the most important part of Xi Jinping’s era was to establish the Theater Commands. The Disputes with Indian Security Forces are currently being monitored, controlled, ordered, and executed by the Western Theater Command. It’s been said that some General wanted to impress Xi and wanted some promotion, that is why he had taken a big action in the Galwan valley.
India is also trying to figure out the Theater Commands, but the only significant improvement is the appointment of CDS or the Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat. Indian Army is also trying to raise 2 new Mountain Strike Cores, and training is underway. India has also successfully deployed the Special Frontier Forces or the SSF. This special unit is built by the Tibetan refugees who have taken shelter in India.
Currently, our Air Defense Command is the only Theater Command that is operational. But our forces are undergoing various unifications such as Defense Cyber Agency, Defense Space Agency, and Special Operations Divisions are already operational. But our land and naval commands are quite behind in this line.
But this is not just it. Under Xi Jinping’s policies, China is offering “Free” or “Cheap” or “Take Now, Pay Later” schemes and arming nations that are hostile to India. Last week, China gave Pakistan their latest and largest Naval Ship PNS Tughril or Type 054A Frigate with advanced Vertical Missile Launching Systems.
China had also “Gifted” a few Planes, Submarines, and Frigates, along with missiles, bombs, guns, and ammunition, but the missiles failed to take off, one submarine sunk, and the Frigates, well they are not performing. The Planes, Submarines, and Frigates were also found faulty and causing problems and mishaps during refueling.
China has also reportedly funded the Taliban after their Takeover of Afghanistan by various means. They are buying nuts from them, giving them weapons, and taking the American weapons to make cheap copies of them.
China is also trying to arm Myanmar as well. After the country was taken over by the Military, it was easy for an oppressive regime to shake hands with another oppressive regime.
Implications Towards Taiwan:
Planes after planes are entering into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zones. This year alone, more than 800 intrusions had been reported by the Taiwanese defense agencies. Before the 20th party congress, Xi plans and tries to ensure a “Reunification” of Taiwan. In the last few months, the CCP has banned and sanctioned several top Taiwanese leaderships. Currently, the CCP and PLA are keeping all the Taiwanese forces on high alert. Staying on high alert for a long time has severe adverse effects on the Taiwanese population, security forces, economics, and supply chains. This week Joe Biden and Xi Jinping held a meeting upon the request of the US President. But when the meeting was going on PLA Air Force was invading Taiwanese Airspace with 6 jets. Therefore, under Joe Biden’s leadership, the USA wasn’t showing much effort to keep the island nation afloat or couldn’t do enough.
But there are some rays of hope, as the USA had sent its best troops to Taiwan to train and perform war drills with the island forces. But this is not enough. The USA and other world leaders need to do much more.
The Joe Biden and Xi Jinping Meeting:
This week, Joe Biden held a virtual meeting with Xi to discuss important things and make Xi cornered. But just like the previous meetings of Biden, such as with the Russian President Putin, Mr. Biden ended up talking literal ‘bullshits,’ vague, unrealistic, unnecessary, and incompatible things on these meetings and also ended up agreeing with them.
Joe had three key issues: the Uighur Slave Labor, massive human rights violations, and Taiwan’s Sovereignty. But with every “Tat” from Xi, Joe Biden had not much to answer or words. And just like the previous meeting with President Putin, Joe found blabbering and mumbling, no strong words came out from the US President.
The US Defense and Intelligence agencies believe US and China are going towards a serious armed conflict. This meeting was just an attempt to release some pressure from both ends. But how effective that was? Time will tell us.
Some Further Developments:
According to the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, one of the prominent think tanks on defense policies, CCP is planning and preparing for a major war within or right after the middle of this century. The CCP leadership and PLA members are mentally preparing the people of China regarding this matter.
The End Game:
As the S-400 missile defense systems are being delivered to India by Russia and India is surrounded by enemies and unpredictable allies and neighbors who cannot be trusted, there are very tough times ahead for India. But PLA has already started testing its Hypersonic Missile Systems, which cannot be stopped by the S-400s. So, India is deploying the fastest nuclear-capable missiles, including Agni 5 and BrahMos systems.
Under the leadership of Joe Biden, the USA sinking faster than the HMS Titanic, CCP or China is being looked at as the new rising superpower. Now, as Biden keeps giving Xi and Putin walkovers after walkovers, the leaders of NATO and EU are also trying their best to float under the pressure of CCP. Whereas possible regime and policy changes in Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines may make things more interesting for the World, favorable for the CCP, and challenge the USA to keep its foothold in Asia. So, India and Taiwan are seeking new friends and making stronger relationships with their old pals. Chief of Army Staffs of the Indian Army General M.N. Naravane’s visit to Israel. Last week, India had also welcomed the Chief of Staff of the Nepalese Army. Making him the Honorary General of the Indian Army is two steps towards it.
Xi Jinping believes and tries to make China the middle kingdom, the holy land between heaven and hell where all the people in the World will bring gits and gold for the Emperor, and he wants to be the modern-day Emperor of China.
