China Walking On Pakistan’s Way: Supporting Terrorist Insurgencies In North-Eastern India

On the morning of 13^th November 2021, the Convoy of an Indian Army Officer Colonel Viplab Tripathi, the Commanding Officer of the Khuga Battalion of the 46^th Assam Rifles, including his wife and son, Anuja and Abir, respectively. Abir was just 8 years old. Yes, the terrorists called themselves Peoples’ Liberation Army Manipur PLA of Manipur, liberated a child with his untimely death. Four more soldiers from the 46^th Assam Rifles were martyred on this attack, identified as the driver of Colonel Shyamlal Das, and security staff identified as Suman Swargiary, Khatnei Konyak, R.P Meena.

The Perpetrators:

The PLA Manipur or Peoples’ Liberation Army Manipur was created in 1978 to separate Manipur from India and make it a Free Country. Currently, they have around 600 to 700 active terrorists under their colors. This PLA is also being funded by the original PLA or Peoples’ Liberation Army of China.

Just like the PLA of China, PLA Manipur is also a “Coward.” They couldn’t fight on their own, so they were helped by the NSCN or the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang faction). According to sources, at least 8 terrorists carried out the attack, and 3 of them were NSCN. Furthermore, ULFA’s Paresh Barua himself, chief of another terror outfit, may have provided the logistics, weapon, and intelligence.

At first, there was an IED explosion to the convoy of Colonel Tripathi, and then the Ambush took place. Several soldiers are still hospitalized and in critical condition as this blog is being written. After the attack, all 8 terrorists have run away to Myanmar.

Current and Sudden Surge of Insurgency in the North-Eastern States:

After Operation All Clear back in 2003-2004, the insurgency in the North East was under control, but it increased its pace back in 2015 and started its Ambushes to 6^th Dogra Rifle soldiers. Then a thorough surgical strike was conducted by the 6 Para Regiment throughout the India-Myanmar border. The NSCN and other terrorist outfits were eradicated. But after almost six years of peace, they have back with their old “Ambush and Flee” tactic.

Although most terrorist organizations wanted to separate their respective states from India, they were united under communism, specifically Mao’s version of communism. Therefore, the CCP supports them with Funds, Weapons, Training, and even Bases on Chinese soil.

After the military takeover of Myanmar, the ties of the CCP are also growing with the oppressive regime. Now Myanmar is allowing the terrorists to open bases on their soil and operate in India. As most of the 1643KM border between India and Myanmar, fencing or walling is non-existent. It is easy for anyone to cross the borders.

As history showed us, one dictator always favors the other dictators; the CCP is now boosting Myanmar’s Military Government, which toppled the Elected Civilian Government led by Ang San Suu Kyi. Just like Pakistan working as the hub and breeding grounds for terrorism, CCP and some of Myanmar’s military officials want the same to destabilize India. Currently, NSCN and ULFA’s top leaderships are in Myanmar. There are at least 4 basecamps for training, recruiting, planning, and political headquarters of ULFA identified inside Myanmar. These camps have become large enough to deny any government involvement.

According to some media sources, Colonel Tripathi also became very successful in cracking down the local drug cartels and smugglers throughout the borders. This made him popular among the local people but made some criminals very unhappy. They also may have played their part in this deadly attack.

Aftermath:

After the loss of their beloved Colonel along with his family, Assam Rifles are doing their best. They have already arrested four terrorists in two separate operations in Manipur’s Thoubal and Imphal East districts. They were arrested very close to the India-Myanmar border while trying to flee. They may have some crucial information to eradicate all the terrorists who belonged to the PLA Manipur group. The security forces have also recovered some “Made in China” weapons from them.

Ending Notes:

But we also need to remember that the very fine line between Islamic Terrorism and Communist Tortures is fading away with each passing day. Islamic Terrorism killed thousands in the recent past and millions throughout history in the name of conquest, especially in the Islamic Nations, while communism is a fairly new concept of oppressing citizens of their own country. From Stalin to Mao to Castro and now Xi, all of their hands are stained with the blood of innocent people at home and abroad. The first three had killed millions, while Xi is still trying to catch up by supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan and funding insurgents in the North-Eastern States of India. As CCP has successfully brought different terrorist agencies under one umbrella or communism in the North Eastern States of India.
