The UUVs or Unmanned Underwater Vehicles or generally known as the underwater drones are probably the new Chinese or better said Chinese Communist Party’s way to interfere in others’ territory. This time the victim of intrusion is Indonesia. But this making a more fuss as in the last few years Indonesian leaders had shown their aggressiveness against the Chinese Communist Party’s propagandas.

According to Indonesian media reports, on 20th December 2020 an Indonesian fisherman caught the UUV near at the Tanggol Island at Selayar Islands near South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. The Chinese drone maybe belongs to the Chinese Sea Wing or Haiyi class and the markings of Shenyang Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences can also be seen in it. It was allegedly made for the scientific purposes like checking on sea level, ocean temperature, salinity and other ocean data. But when it comes in terms to Chinese Communist Party and South China Sea disputes Indonesian Navy and the Naval Chief of Staff Yudo Margono do not want to down their guards and considering this issue very seriously. Indonesian Navy has already pushed for regulations on UUVs, especially for the foreign ones.

Now as the India-China tensions are all-time high since 1962; Indian security forces are not taking any chances which could give the PLA or People’s Liberation Army or the Chinese Communist Party’s military any upper-hand in the South-East Asia. India has already acquired several equipment, including the P8I Neptune submarine hunters and MH-60 Seahawk Romeo helicopters to tackle these types of issues immediately.
