It has been a few months since the Chinese People Liberation Army had tried to encroach in Indian soil and got buffeting replies from the Indian Armed Forces. The 14th and 15th June 2020 incident at the Galwan Valley where India lost her 20 Braveheart while taking lives of more than 40 PLA troops the tensions in both sides are not seem to be back down, in this winter the heat may increase.
Today, India has deployed it’s upgraded T-72 Arjun and T-90 Bhishma at the Line of Actual Control with China. Due to the latest upgrades the tanks can remain under esteem working condition even below -40℃ at the altitude more than 14,000 feet in the Himalayas. Apart from the tanks, the Indian Army has also deployed its advanced Artillery units at the frontline with China.
All these steps were taken to match and counter the deployments done by the PLA on the other side of the border. In last few weeks PLA has deployed their Rocket Force and Heavy Artillery Units.
Today also is the day to salute all the fallen soldiers of the Indian Artillery Regiments. This auspicious day is observed to mark the raising of Five (Bombay) Mountain Battery equipped with 2.5-inch guns on 28th September 1827. The Tank Regiment and Artillery Regiments currently posted on the Union Territory of Ladakh had paid their tributes to the fallen soldiers at this 193rd Gunners Day.
